About the Project
For a combined-cycle power plant, 11,000 tons of structural steel were produced spanning the turbine hall, boiler steel structure, stack platforms and pipe bridges. Material selection addressed low-temperature notch toughness required by the regional climate. Erection was completed on schedule under cold-weather conditions.
Power PlantScope of Work
- Plant structural steel engineering coordination
- Fabrication of low-temperature-tough materials
- Heavy equipment platforms and stack steel production
- Industrial protective painting
- Cold-climate on-site erection and commissioning
